Networking and recruiting in the high-tech cluster

In May, Silicon Saxony met with international partner networks and representatives of politics, science and industry for the 13th Silicon Saxony Day in Dresden.

Together with Adenso, more than 300 experts from all areas of Saxon and international high-technology exchanged ideas on the focal topics of the present and future.

Apart from the currently omnipresent internet of things (IoT), the topics of "Sensors and smart systems" and “Challenges of the semiconductor industry” were examined intensively in separate expert sessions and thus dealt with core areas of Adenso’s expertise.

For Adenso, actively attracting skilled personnel in the region is also a priority. The Adenso concept – much like speed dating – consisted of a very short and snappy company presentation with coordinated informative pitches made – Positive result: Two new employees were gained, of which the first female employee for the adSphere startup focussing on sensors. At the 13th Silicon Saxony Day, it once again became more than clear that Saxony is not Europe’s microelectronics hotspot and one of the leading locations for hardware, software and connectivity without reason. Innovative and efficient, the Free State is decisively involved in the development of tomorrow's technology.
